This is a stupid question that i should have asked earlier but Ill have to deal with the repercussions now.
So here is my dilema: I have a 20 gallon tall tank it is 24 inches long,so I bought a new lighting fixture because I was ready to upgrade. I bought a 24" 130W Dual Strip Compact Fluorescent Light Fixture (2 power cords) which is great except I got the mounting legs because it wood not fit on the lid I have now. the problem is when i pput the legs on it wont fit on the tank, its either way to long or way to short depending on which way I put them. so I bought a peice of plexiglass or acrylic that I am going to use as the top and then cut a peice and put hinges on it so I can still have access.my questions are will this work? If not any suggestions? and also what size light should I have bought ? anyway i know this is probably confusing but any help would be very much apprecitated. Thanks
