Lights.................white Or Blue

g'day folks, after a tricky week with my lighting, i now have 3 white lights, the original set up was one white one blue. should i return to this? if so, why? is there any benefits to blue lighting. i must admit, that with only white light my water has a green tinge to it.

odd that i see more green now that i have a blue light! it does make my fish look nice mind, however no exspert here but i would just go with what ever please's you, dont think its going to bother your fish

Blue lights don't contribute to plant growth, so if you have plants I'd have just white lights. The green tint could be an algae bloom from too much light and poor water conditions.

Try the auqaglo light bulb it gives a lilac tint that looks pretty nice

I love the look that blue lights give. I think they make plants look a much more healthy green. So if you can have one, while still providing enough white light for growth, I'd go for it
