Lights Over 20w

Right now I have a 20w sunglo but need something with more wattage there is an light that is made for planted tanks but is still 20w does anyone know some good lights that will raise my wpg?

Sorry you want to increase the WPG but still only use a 20w bulb? Are you planning to add some more bulbs? As a replacement for the sunglo, the Arcadia freshwater is very good, and at 18w would be prefect.

I am looking for something to increase the wpg so how would an 18w do that I can only put one light in my hood at the momentso I need something to increase my wpg to at least 2wpg and do you mean 2 18watts or just one.

If the fixture you have runs 18w bulbs then you can only ever run 18w tubes in it, you can run a 40w bulb on a 18w starter. The only way to increase the WPG is to add more tubes or to change the existing starter for a higher wattage fixture such a power compact or such like, but you'll have to replace all the electronics to do that.

The simplest way is to add another tube, I've yet to see a hood you cant add more light to.

Right now there is only one spot to put a light but there is a spot covered that may fit a light so I will look.

Is that relfector movable? If so coudl you move it so as to fit another tube beside the exisitng on?

I am not sure I think I will just look for a luminaire.

Get a new Fixtures.. it will be the best thing
