Hi,
I am setting up a tank. its about 80L, and i am thinking of going low tech planted.
This tank is on a real budget, so i had no intention of buying a T5/8 light bar.
Can i get away with just having a couple of lamps pointing at the water? with 'normal' bulbs? and if so, what WPG would relate to a standard bulb? Could you even use an energy saving bulb?
Or i might get some GU10 spotlight fittings and have either a halogen or LED bulb. Is there anything i need to look out for with either of these?
