Hi, I have a 300 litre marine tank with the original heavy duty wooden top on it. Looks like this:

It came with 2 far too short T5 bulbs and a Arcadia ballast. I've got 1 white and 1 blue running but it's not enough.

Initially I thought about more T5 lights, another ballast or 2 etc and just doing it that way but I'd like to try LED ideally. I'm happy to try one of the cheapish full spectrum chinese units but most of them are for hanging and not screwing to the underside of a wooden canopy so I'm a bit confused as to how I'm going to screw them to the underside of the wood. I like the AI SOL units as I know they'll fit from reading about someones setup on the ultimatereef but they are way over my budget.

Ideas?

Thanks

Cheers bud. Went for some more T5's in the end. Has helped no end. Not ready for LEDs yet!
