Hi all,

I have a Juwel Vision 180 tank, set up with EI ferts, pressurised CO2 (using a cigarette filter at the moment waiting on up in-line atomiser from Hong Kong to arrive). Also a Tetratec EX1200 and a 2000lph powerhead.

I'd appreciate some advice on timing for lights, 8 hours maximum? should I have a gap in between?

As for flow, I have the filter inlet on the back right corner and about 3/4 down (standard tube inlet). For the outlet I have a spray bar that spans the whole tank (minus 6cm or so on each side).
How should the spray bar be aimed, pointing downwards? with one pointing upwards to give a slight ripple?
The 2000lph powerhead not sure where to position that either, I've put it halfway down the tank on the right hand side.

and here's a paint diagram that probably makes more sense!

many thanks!

In my eyes 2000lph is way to much... but that's just what i think. I had a 1500 in my tank and the pressure was killing all my fry...

I'd put the powerhead on the left pushing the water back towards the filter inlet so the flow circulates and it is a lot of flow you have there btw but so long as your fish are ok you can never have to much in a planted tank, most people go with 10-20 times per hour full turnover.
