Lighting Question

I have a 46 communtity with a jungle of live plants. I currently have 30watts on the hood.(under 1 wpg). I know this is really low. I saw a hood that has 2 96 watts bulbs that fits my tank.

Question is: is 4.2 wpg too much?(i neer have heard of too much light).

No its not too much, but you will need good Co2 levels @ around 30ppm.
