Lighting Problem....

Everytime i flick the switch the lights come on for 5 seconds and then go of.

What could it be?

Bump

Its really annoying me now. I've took the tubes out, swaped em round, changed the fuse and after that it stayed on for 20 mins before flickering out!

it'll be the starters m8, small round things that screw into the light fitting

Cheers mate. It seems that is the problem. I've searched around on googleand it seems to be a common problem for rio 180's, in which there's no fixing it!!!

So it looks like I need to buy a new lighting unit! Any suggestions?

If it's an old unit ( has a red sticker, underneath) then this was a common problem as juwel out sourced it's lighting units before 2008, they now make them themselves and the problem has solved itself. Have a look in the hardware section and there's a pinned thread on how to fix the juwel lightbar.
