Lighting Help Please

hi all,
can anyone help or has anyone fitted a Interpet 36w compact to a 24" juwel lid

You should be able to take out the original bulbs that came with your juwel and relace them with interpret ones as long as you get them the same length. It should say the length on your old tubes.


Ah i just read the compact bit. Do you mean T5s? If so no, youll need to get a starter unit for them.
I run 2 T5s on mine as well as the original sized bulbs but I id swap the juwel ones for arcadia ones.

hi julia, yes it's t5 36W and starter unit,
i'm hoping to keep the original aswell
i'v got a planted tank at the mo theres no lid on it
but when i move it in to the house from the shed
i need to put the lid on

Some people clip the extra lights to the original ones, or use cable ties and tie them to orignal lights at each end.
Some people balance the extra lights on the main brace and the tension of the cables holds the lighs up.
