Lighting For Roma 200

I started looking at plantes for my tank, when I get it, And it seems that the two 30Watt lighting tubes only give me just over 1 Watt per gallon.

Any advise on better lighting??

Because i know many plantes need more than 2 Watts per gallon.

there are lots of plants that will survive, with it being a large tank, the wpg becomes more leanient.

Anubias
Java fern
hygrophillia polysperma
moss balls
marsilea
java moss
cryptocorynes
bolbitis

Once you get to 2wpg, you then need CO2 injection as a must.

If you want better lighting, then installing T6 tubes that give 40% more light is an easy way, as they will still fit into the T8 ballast. Look at aqua essentials.

i thought about added two more lights, but i'm not sure how to fix them.


Do you mean add the T6 with the other?

I mean replace the T8 tubes, with T6 tubes, they fit directly into the original ballast,
