I have a 37 gl SW tank, dimensions, 30"long, 24"high, 12"wide. i have one star polyp kinda in the middle of my tank, and i want to get more polyps in the future. for a tank like mine, wat would be the best set-up for lighting? including wattage, amounts of light, types, etc.

thx

If all you are going to get are polyps you should be fine with T5 lights. I would recommend 2X36W for your tank.

Fairly cheap and will do the job nicely

i recently was told 2x65 watt, or a 175 watt metal halide. i think im gonna go with the 175 halide

You won't need Metal Halide for polyps or other similar soft corals. Most will do just fine under NO Flourescent or Compact Flourescent depending onwhat types your planning on keeping.
