Lighting, For Coral

HI all
Would 1 x 150w HQI 20.000k metal halide light be enough to allow me to grow most beginner corals (soft + hard), i dont know any names so wont embarrase myself. The light will be situated 8-9" above my tanks water level and its measurements are 80cmx42cmx33cm (lengtxheightxwidth), i take it that this would not be strong enough for any anenomes either???

It will depend upon the types of corals you want to keep but a Halide over a 12" deep tank should be plenty for most corals.

Agreed...., but, I'm not good with tank dimensions (gallons and inches are more my style). SH
