Hey guys, I'm starting a 10 gallon (standard footprint, not square) nano tank with hang on fuge.

I was wondering what type of lighting to put on it... contemplating LED.

I plan on keeping zoas only so don't need a MH cooking the tank.

Can you guys recommend a 12" fixture or LED strip that would be adequate for this tank and stocking?

go leds they have little heat output so you wont get too much evaporation, and though intially they seem expensive there long term costs are minimal!

+ u seem to get alot less algae growth with leds which is always useful

So i decided to buy a 12g nanocube instead, because the lights were gunna cost me more than half of the tank + stand.

Plus i won't have to use HOBs for everything now.

Will be starting a journal later on.

WTG. My only advice now is take the time to plan it out and read up. I suggest you find a similar journal here and read up on it. Go SLOW. SH
