Lighting Advice

over the last month or so i have settup a 150 gallon tank for discus .could some one tell me what power of lighting would be needed for good plant growth. i have read about lights on the forum but i'm not sure how the rules apply when you light a tank this size. thank s john

Check out the amano lighting article in my sig, that f you want to go high light that is. If not 150w would probably be around mid range for light.
