OK this is the first time I have to change my light in my fish tank. On the bulb it just says, Eclipse F18T8 Natural Light. There's no wattage or anything on it.

I went to the pet store and I saw fluorescent lights. The ones I saw said 15 watt T8. Would this be the right light bulb since it has the T8 on it like my old one? An also is fluorescent similar to Natural light? And would 15 watt be ok? I have a 29 gal tank but it's longer then it is high.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

The F18 stands for the wattage of the bulb and the T8 stands for the diameter.

So, you need a 18 watt T8 bulb, I think it is a 24" bulb. The 15 watt bulb would be too short for your hood.

O,ok thanks. So what's the difference between natural daylight bulbs and fluorescent bulbs. Or are they pretty much the same thing?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by a Natural Daylight bulb. But I like my flora glo bulb better than the regular eclipse.
