I have a 20 gal tank which I would like to have planted as well. 24*12*16in or so.
I have the original hood it came with and a spare from my 55gal. I would like to put two lights over it. The bulbs are 15W each.

Would this be low enough not to need co2?

Would I be able to grow these?
Java Fern
Pennywort
Moss Balls
Ludwigia repens
Wisteria
Red tiger lotus
Christmas moss
Crypt Wendtii

What kind of fertilizer could I use? I only have the dry I use for my 55gal.

K doesnt matter. you rat about 1.5 WPG fairly medium light, you could get away without CO2, but IMO i would go for it anyway.

Dose ferts too, just make sure they contain NPK and traces

So no co2 would be alright? I don't want to start producing an algae farm or starve my plants.
I might dose co2 later on. My co2 tank is on the other side of the room so I don't know how I will split the line without having to walk over it.
So I can still use the dry salts but not as much?

Thank you for the help.

What would be the amount of light I would need to not use co2?
Can I use DIY co2 for the 20gal?
