Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what they did to fix it,
I can’t seem to remove the remaining ‘set’ at all as it’s built into the tank.
One of my flatmates suggested magnetic strips, Would that be okay with getting wet sometimes and safe for the fish? Lid doesn’t close the entire way.

Why wont it close. Are you sure there isn't a wire or air tube stopping it from going down. Sometimes the hinges lift, make sure the hinges are in their correct places. The lid should go down even if it doesn't lock.

Nah it’s the spring of the lid that keeps it like that, no hose or wires stopping the shut.
