Licorice gourami

I was wondering if licorice gourami would fit into my Miniature Tank community, when it gets upgraded?

You have sparklers and honeys right? And some cories, tetras and otos if I remember correctly? When you up-grade did you say you wanted some dwarf cichlids as well? With what you currently have a pair of licorice gouramies would be fine but keep in mind that they are rather fragile and need excellent water quality. I can't remember what the cichlids you were thinking about were but, as long as they are a peaceful species, they'd be ok. Still, these cichlids, when they breed, may cause their tankmates a little stress if the tank doesn't contain enough hiding places - especialy tall plants and a few caves.

Cockatoos are the cichlids. Yes it will wait awhile. I haven't actually seen any except on line at a high price with shipping.

I was just asking because I saw them on drsfosterandsmith.
