For those that don't visit the planted section, i thought i'd share my new aquascape. Having got quite friendly with my local LFS manager/owner over the last few years, he gave me the opportunity to do his display tank. The tank is a home made, around 125 ltrs cube. This sits on the counter alongside the marine display tank. Having put in the plant order from Tropica, we got round to scaping it today. I have been at it since very early this morning. All the stuff used in the scape is available from the LFS, which is 'The Aquarium' in Lincoln. I had a choice of wood, but decided to go with JBL mangrove wood as it's not used much in scapes, and Dragon stone. There will be more photo's to come over the next few weeks. This tank can be viewed from 2 sides which made it more of a challenge!

I like the dragon stone. Never seen it before. May have a look at getting some.

What's the substrate?

Looking well.

Is that Fluval stratum? I have a bag of that but decided against it in the 30L as I heard it was hard to clean. Regretting that choice now!

thanks a lot for the comments guys and girls...

The substrate is Columbo florabase IMO and IME the next best substrate to ADA amazonia. As for the Stratum Kelly, it's almost the same thing, Stratum is a good planted substrate. :good:

Looks great!
What's the fish stocking? I love those blue ones. I think they're rams, but I'm not sure.

thank you for the comments...

@Tolan, the stocking is about 12 electric blue rams. They really set the plants off!
