ive decided to take them back, i dont have the room for a group of them, and they are bickering badly now

so i thought id do the right thing and take them back

Whoever told you they'd be ok as a pair was giving you poor advice.. they're bloody difficult to sex at twelve inches, never mind three.. if you've got two males, they're more than capable of literally kicking the sh*t out of each other, if you'll excuse my French.

That's a really mature decision though and probably the best one for both yourself and the fish

What size is your tank? Maybe I can suggest some alternatives

its a 20gallon tank

im a little sad to see them go, but would rather they had the proper care, than beat each other up

ive just put 3 green puffers in my tank, and am making it brackish, but am planning on getting another tank, something bigger, like a 40gallon, can u suggest anything for a tank that size?

Is that 40 USG or UKG? What tank dimensions?

uk gallons, not sure yet, as ive not really looked at tanks, but not too tall, more length than height
