Lethargic Tiger Barb

Hi all not an emergency yet but one of my Tiger Barbs has started swimming at the top of the tank feeds ok but swims very slowly and lethargic all other fish seem fine. this has been going on for 2 days now and do not want to add medicine without knowing what it is. Has anyone any Ideas?

some more information the barb has not improved any and is a little worse as now it does not feed as much as normal. Also the clown loaches look like they are eating the slime coat this does not seem to bother the fish that much but as i've said it is not eating much and is still lethargic

doesn't matter now it died over night isolated it but to no avail....think i need to find a more helpful community bye bye
