Lethargic Bettas

Is lethargy common in older bettas? my brother and I bought our bettas around 2 years ago, and they were about 4 months old when we got them. I just want to make sure that the lethargy is due to old age and how long the old men have?

2 years is a good age, and yes they do get slower just like any living being when they get older.
