Let The Conditioning Begin - Pic Heavy!

Started conditioning my 2 pairs today with bloodworm, they will get there normal food later tonight (betta/shrimp/bloodworm pellets) and 2 lots of bloodworm every other day. Took the females out as it was impossible to feed only them gave me some time to get some decent pictures though

We'll start with Polo and Angel DTxHM spawn

Looking at Kai closely his tail seems to be over lapping, i think he may actually be Rosetail

Plan to condition both pairs for 2 weeks, hopefully get them both spawning same time and raise the fry in the same tank, probably divided so i know who is who

Thanks i can't believe i found him in an LFS the other 3 are imports form Thailand, saying that my LFS said he is too

Beautiful pairs! Just curious but how do YOU breed your bettas? I've read so many different methods.. it seems so complicating! But there are so many people doing it there must be a secret I dont know about. Also what are you going to do with all of them? 0_0 thats going to be a lot!

These are my first actually, normally 1st spawns are small, plus there all first time pairs too so they might not even spawn, the males might eat the eggs, theres so many things to consider.
My LFS said he would glad take some off my hands if i was ever to breed, then theres plenty of web pages to advertise them on

i think it's exciting can't wait for lil baby pics, fingers crossed. i am sure if you should have probs "getting rid" of the baby fish, many ppl on here would stand in the q to have one, me included...

how long do the eggs take to hatch? plz keep us updated
