David J
Fishaholic
Hi to everyone
I'm David. 34 years old from East Lothian, Scotland, but born and Brought up in Edinburgh. I'm totally new to fish keeping ( if you discount the goldfish I had as a child ).
I have really wanted to keep tropical fish for many years and finally after lots of nagging/psychological seed planting etc etc, my better half shocked me a few weeks ago by saying I can get a tank for my Christmas. I couldn't believe my ears. After confirming that she wasn't winding me up, I have spent hours and hours reading up and measuring up in the house to see how big I can go. Living in a flat with not a great deal of space to play with, and having to resist the temptation of suggesting my partner get rid of some of her stuff to allow me to accommodate a bigger tank, I / we have decided on the Fluval Roma 90L with the new style cabinet.
I will get it on Christmas Day and the fun will then begin although, now that I am on the steep learning curve of a fish keeper, I realise the hard work I will have to do before considering putting fish in the tank. I will no doubt have many questions, most of them stupid ones, but look forward to starting what looks to be a great hobby.
All the best,
David.
