could not find the fish section that danio go in, is there one?
anyway trying to get my danio to lay eggs (ive breed zebras before) i put 2 fat pregnant females and 2 males into breeding tank. i was reading that the danio have breeding partners usually for life. one male and female formed a pair while the other 2 seemed unintrested in each other and kept their distance from the other pair that formed. so i put the 2 that didint from a pair back into the community tank.
for a couple of days now the male has been trying his best to get the female to drop the eggs. but she dont seem interested. he darts around flirting showing off and chasing her but she wont lay eggs.
other websites say you should have 2 males to 1 female.
any ideas? thx
