Hi guys. Earlier on today I have just purchased two male guppies of the same species . The guppy I own is much bigger and has a rounder more colourful tail. The two I have got are settling in well and always usually swim around together. Are they related? Anyway the resident guppy is all by him self. Will he get too lonely? or will the other guppies gang up on him and attack? I am probably worried too much and it is fine but any advice would as always help as I would happily buy another of the same resident one. You see I bought them from different stores (the second one had a wider stock range and cleaner tanks). Thanks anyway.

You can set your mind at ease FK4567. Your fish will do fine together. There is no such thing as a species of guppy. All guppies are P. reticulata. There are only color and fin shape variations within a single species. It is no more relevant than the skin color variations we see with people. The guppies are all the same species, much like people are all the same species regardless of their origin or appearance.
