Led Lights In Planted Tank

i'm planning to start a planted tank and my lighting will need to be upgraded im looking for medium light low tech tank, i have low light at the monent and looking around leds are my cheapest way to upgrade the tank i was think of using one/two of these light would it work of has any one got any sugestions

I too, am planning on doing some DIY LED light upgrades at a some point, so it will be interesting to see how you get on with this project.

Apparently these are fairly decent LED's but at a price of course.
