Leaving My Oscar For 3 Days.......

im going on holiday for a long weekend, im going saturday and coming back tuesday.
I was wondering as ive only recently had my oscar, will he be ok if i feed him enough food before i leave?

i wouldnt worry about lights or food.

jus feed him the normal amount before you go and hell be fine.


alot of people leave there fish without food for a few days every so often.


allows there digestive system to have a good clear out and they tidy the tank a bit by eating up all the scraps that would otherwise be left.

I play paintball for a living. As a result I have to travel quit often. Iv leave my GT home for 4 days at a time and he does ok.

I wouldnt go more than 5 days without feeding a semi-adult fish.
