Leach?

Sure looks like a leach in terms of form but I haven't seen one that small.

This was filmed with the macro camera on my phone. The leach was maybe 3/4 of an inch long.

It's a leech.

You should see the monsters we get down south, 5-6 inches long and even bigger when they stretch out to bite you. Real nasty too, they latch onto anything in the water and chew holes in your waders.
