Lazy Shrimps

how do

Ive got a couple of pretty big rock shrimps which i bought as they are good cleaners.

However theyve been in 2 days and have done nothijng, I cant even see one, the other just sits on this plant.

Are they lazy when will the cleaning commence !!!!!

sorry friend, they are filter feeders. and shy at that!!! ghost shrimp are the guys your after!

Amano shrimp are good, but make sure you acclimatise them gently and that the tank is cycling or anything like that (they are very sensitive to water quality, and will die off at the slightest sign of nitrites or ammonia, so a mature tank is much better for them due to the more stable environment it offers).

What do you want your critters cleaning in your tank in particular?
