Lazy Boring Slow Snail

Do you have a snail like this?
I just bought one. My first one was a very hyper happy snail.

Well, there are many, many types of snail and your new one could just be a slower species...But to be honest what do you expect it to do? Snails are snails...they sleep and slither everywhere and don't win any races...

Ya I know there not race horses. I just dont the laziest one on earth. And I think I got him.

I don't know if it makes a difference in your situation ... but snails are more active the warmer the water temperature (and conversely, less active in cooler temperatures)

The snail I have is most active at night, when the lights are off. I think I read somewher that they are nocternal (unsure).

I watch mine during most of the day he just sits on the side of the tank doing nothing at all. But once it gets to about 10 or 11 pm, I can see him moving all over the tank.

Thought I would assume like most other living moving creatures snails have their own personalities. You might have just got one that is simply put lazy.

I found a way to make Eclipese not so much of a lazy boring slow snail. I put him in my new goldfishs tank and hes moving real fast for a snail.I got a Hyper, Lazy, Interesting, Boring, Fast, Slow snail
