Hi guys I currently have a tank set up with a few malawi's in there ( 4 yellow labs 3 venustus 4 that i dont know the name of but the male has a blue head and they all have a sort of mottled every colour body a blue zebra and what was described as mixed african cichlid that is a lavender colou) but i want to add another 1 or 2 fish to finish the tank off and just wanted some suggestions of something that will get on with them all thanks james

Could do with knowing tank size , are you aware that the Nimbochromis venustus could get to 10 inch !

At a guess i would say the mottled fish are ob zebras

i think its about 100cmx60x60 but it might be bigger am trying to find a tape mesure

That sounds something similar to the Fluval duo deep 1000 - not really big enough for Haps i'm afraid, Venustus will outgrow a tank of those dimensions - sorry.

Its a bit on the short side, you might want to consider changing the venustus then you could go 6 yellow labs the 4 ob's and a another species of 4 but i would keep to a less aggressive species maybe a salousi ?

Thats based on it being 3ft x 2ft x 2ft
