Hey, i have gone from a 10gallon, to a 29gallon to a 46gallon and now I'm going to buy a 135 gallon tank. Would this size be able to hold Large mouth and Small mouth Bass. Also, what do native fish like bass require to live like heat, filteration etc. Lastly, what other predatory fish can i get instead or with the bass.

You can read about these fish here SMALL- AND LARGEMOUTH BASS

These fish are not appropriate for keeping in a home aquarium.I used to fish for largemouth in Connecticut in the 1970s. We ate what we kept. They are delicious filleted and fried in butter.

well that kinda depends where you live. there are species of bass that dont get very large like spotted and rock bass for instance.

I live in Boston Massachusetts
You would need to pick either one or the other because they live in different environments. Large-mouth prefer warmer water with lots of top cover (ie Lilly pads). But small-mouth prefer more colder environments like 65 degree and small-mouth prefer more rocky area. And if i were you i would wait until spring and catch a small bass of the kind you want to keep. :good: good luck
