i want to start up a species tank for Lamprologus Callipterus but the problem im having is finding shells big enough for the 12cm males!
has anyone got any ideas i thought about african land snail shells but cant seem to get hold of them.
i emailed this guy http
/www.africanaquatic.com/ and he says he MIGHT be able to get hold of some large malawi shells for me but he is gonna let me know.

so has anyone kept these cichlids and if so what sort of shells did u use? ive been told not to use most marine shells as the fish can get caught in the spirals and these fish r probly gonna cost me around £10 each and i dont want them dying caught in there shell.
im really stuck with these fish but i just love the look of them and i want some badly.
