Yay! More diagrams! Because we don't have nearly enough in this section...

Seriously, though, GS is right, it is trial and error. In my 8g, I positioned my difusor so the filter took it up, then between the intake and the out take, I created an double infinity sign of teeny CO2 bubbles that circulated in the tank. Took a while to get that shape, but it was extremely effective in distributing CO2.

Your dropchecker can also help you with this. Try different positions for you Koralina and then move your dropchecker around to check for dead spots.

Show a picture, for scale. I may be interested in one as my new tank continues to age. I may need more circulation or I may like this for the future. Thanks in advance.

Not to scale but it is 3-dimensional!

this shows how the flow is in my tank. The powerhead is rated at 240gph and I'm not sure on the filter outflow but I know it's much greater than the nano. As stated above, my plants are in the back right corner and I think I would have greater success in the back left due to flow/co2.

It is a 20g long and the dimensions are 30x12x12.

If my tank was a normal 20g or an even bigger/wider tank, I would personally purchse at least 1 more nano. If it were a 29 gallon with filter intake/outflow in the same corner, I would move the powerhead on the left to the right side near the top. Then I would place one on the left side right smack in the middle. So halfway from top to bottom and half way front to back. I would also of course go with a higher rated powerhead instead of the 240gph nano I'd go with the 460 gph nano.

Also remember, what works for me may not work for you.

Unfortunately due to the juwel rio trim design I can only fit the intake for the filter at one side of the tank so It causes limitations for the power head since the deadspot is at the intake end. So where I put my powerhead so far has been resulting in a massive flow to one corner of the tank only. After starring at it for a few hours today I decided to move it so that my powerhead is above my in take and pushes towards the corner diagonal from it.

So my flow at the moment is like this

In the centre of the cross is a very large and tall piece of wood which breaks up flow a lot.

Edit: The cross hasn't come out so well :(

Hi Joshua

If you need any help in increasing flow just give some of your plants to me as I;m planting my tank
