Labradore and Poodle Mix?

A woman in Hawaii is breeding a Lab and a Poodle. She calles it a Labradoodle! They will have the loyalty of a poodle and the inteligence of a labrador. Well my lab isn't that smart but she can be i guess. I wana see this new breed of dogy! The lady is selling them to elderly people and disability places for them to be trained as seeing eye dogs or helper dogs. You can find her at here house selling them for i think it was 1.2k each! These dogys aren't to be spayed or nutered becuase of their rarety.

This isn't a lie... It's true i saw it in the news one day and it was gone the next. I also herd it on the radio. If you don't believe me then that;s your choice.

I would hate to rain on your parade but labradoodles are as old as the hills.... im in Australia too, and everyone knows how fast we are at keeping up with the times

My old friend from school had two. They have the body of a lab but they have curly coats and a mix of the twos face. I havent got any pictures though sorry. Im in Australia and i see labradoodles fairly often Very cool dog my mum wants to get one. And if ythey are charging 1.2k for it i would say you are gettin ripped off

Oh oh!! I know all about them! I have a Goldendoodle, but I know a lotta labradoodles! here's a labradoodle-

By they way, breeders breed goldendoodles and labradoodles and they are very intelligent and have a great dispositiong!! They even have mini labradoodles and goldendoodles. The mini ones are just bred with a toy poodle as the father! (my puppy is a mini goldendoodle... he'll get in the 30 pound range)

Labradoodles are great They have the temperament of the labrador, with the low maintenance coat of the poodle.

I'm sorry, this may offend some poeple, but I feel strongly about this. There are many labradoodles in my area. Rareness of the breed??? as i know it it is not a recognized breed. The st. poodle is an extreemy intelligent dog as is the lab. Breeding the 2 coulds only result in a smart and loyal dog. I am just irked that they are making a big deal out of this. There were these mixed breeds in the shelter long before they decided to breed them toghther intentionally. Lhasapoo, schnoodle, shihpoo, see the trend? The poodle is a wonderful dog. I hope the lady breeding isn't advertising loyalty/poodle and smart/lab, cause breed standards would have it the other way. I donate some of my pups to the hearing ear trainier in my area. I also think that poodles have high maintenance hair. Grooming the two shows who has low maint. lab25-30/st poos60- 120. I am not against breeding, just how the general public get ripped off. These are not rare and SHOULD be spayed/neutered. worth1.2k...NO WAY Show quality poodles can go for that much. Can't show a doodle... I will get off my soap box now...

not as wierd looking as i thought it would be....i think i've seen things like that before.

almost looks like our old dog pronounced boo-vee-eh (sounds like A) i have no clue how to spell it....but anyway, it looks like that almost, except with different colered coats. *after google search*-wow...now i'm wondering how the heck we could afford that thing! some people have adds online selling them for around $1000!

some of them look like falcore on that webpage! lol. (from never ending story)

Not trying to be mean but...

What is wrong with ppl?? People think that just b/c a dog isn't purebred it sucks! Let me tell you something, IT'S NOT TRUE! Mixed dogs can be better than purebreds. 50% of them are! Get over your issues with them.

Also, there was a show about doodles on one of the cable box channels, and labradoodles migth be entered in the AKC. AKC wants to add them.
