Great picture and fish :good:

Thanks, I've only had them a month was a bit scared to take a pic in case it jinxed them but fingers crossed they seem happy enough...I think they're getting more confident too as I see a lot more of them nowadays...they were supposed to go in a tank of their own but they seem settled so I think I'm going to move everyone else instead !

Thanks, wish he'd leave his dorsal up though he puts it down as the camera comes out, sure I'm paranoid but I think he sees me pointing at him going "here Fishy Fishy Fishy" and decides to have a grump :hey:

Can I ask a personal question?

How much did you pay for him and his buddies? And are they readily available? I am currently cycling my tank and I really want 1 or 2 Starlights but I havent seen any in my lfs's

I was gonna contact him if I ever found a starlight cos I thought those caves looked like fab homes. I did look on his website, there are several fab plecs on there that I did wonder about if I couldnt find a starlight but now........................................ I shall pm him

:good: thanks for the tip Dane, sorry for the hijack Lakey

You've just missed this "batch" of fry...

It'll be a few months until i have anymore of a sellable size...

I know someone that is looking to sell their adults (I think they have 2 pairs) - PM me if your interested ;)

Hijack away... :good:

I got mine from a chap in middlesborough who breeds them from the wild parents kept in his spare room.
Being vague I paid under £30 total for 3 of these and 3 long fins - to be honest I think I got myself a right bargain!!!

Would've tried smithrc if I had known about him though MK is a helluva lot closer than M'boro... :D
