Here are a couple of pics of my L059 - White Seam Bristle Nose plecs I bought the other week. Although I'm not 100% sure on the ID though....

Nice pics andy! I do find that my white seam does tend to go really pale sometimes , especially if he's been hiding inside his log for a while - even his spots fade a bit when he goes pale!!

The first 3 pics are of what I think is the male, and the other 2 I think are females !! Difficult to sex them due to the lack of information about them on the web etc.

You can see on the male that there is what looks like a 'sore' in front of the dorsal fin. I think is was due to a 'territorial' dispute with my exist male Common BN !!!

Have treated with Stress Coat and Melafix, and it seems to be getting better now

They're only visitors in my tank really, until next weekened when they're taking a trip to Milton Keynes smithrc's having them !!!

What size are they? the bristles on the nose of my male whiteseam are very pronounced - ive still not managed to get a digi cam to get any pics yet. Ive only got the common BN female to compare, but theres definitely no mistaking the male that i have.
