I am considering getting a L shaped tank from a local advert i saw in a free ad newspaper. height of tank 22", width x 2 is 12", front each side is 24", back to wall sides are 36" each, which I make to be 68 us gallons.
Anyway I was wondering what the pros and cons were on a tank this shape.
For those that have not seen one here is a pic

Any thoughts and or suggestions?

get it because you can put alot of danios in it. and its like cool cuz its an L. Maybe you could get more letters and make the alphabet! :D

It's a SeaBray, right?

I saw one of these in person a couple of weeks ago in a fish store near Wisbech.

I have to say it intrigued me and I cannot think of any disadvanges to it other than making sure the water flow is affecting both parts and not creating 'dead water' where amonia could build up.

Good point, Thanks. Easily rectified with a powerhead at each end.

Perfik

That'd do the job nicely. :D

How much do they want for the tank?
£50 and I have first refusal :)

Yes,
it is not the one pictured but very similar.

I have a viewing of it on saturday, as the guy works all hours and can't see me untill then.

If it is in good condition I'm going for it!

i was thinking about this.. and decided to draw a diagram of what i was thinking..

in 1.... you can see that all the water would just meet in the middle and probably not circulate the water that much... im not positive that would happen, i was just thinking about circulation.. and thought that idea 2 might be better for circulation... anyways, heres my drawing

the red dots are powerheads and the blue streams are where i thought the water would go

That is a good point, I guess if i do get the tank it will be a
case of trial and error to get the flow correct, Thanks leck.
