*shrug* a lot of young cichlid parents eat their eggs, especially if they feel threatened or that the nest has been disturbed.

I wouldn't worry about the eggs. Kribs a great parents and if they don't get it right this time, they'll surely have another opportunity soon.

As @ombomb points out, what you DO need to worry about it aggression. Kribs guarding fry could EASILY take over your entire tank and chase all of the other fish to death. I'd keep a careful eye on the tank for the foreseeable future, especially if and when the eggs hatch.

Do you have another tank to house the other tank inhabitants should the aggression increase?

Yes my parents said if they hatch i am able to get a new tank

IF i get a new tank should i put the fry in it or the mum and dad



and also will the fry die
what colour is it ment to be

however i got small tanks with no light or heater so thats not a good idea

I'd be more worryed about Agression at the moment, with other fish in your tank. I can see some big problems.

As I told you in PM, it may not be s good idea for you to be breeding just yet.

How long has you tank been running??
Have you tested your water resently??
What where the results??

what are the dimentions of your tank??

al the info, will help in helping your kribs and there fry.

ummmm its been running for about 2 months (maby more)
and my water is great

ummmmmmmmm there was about 30 eggs but now theres only like 15 were are they goin
is the female eating them
when they hatch can u see them as soon as they hatch

when they hatch you should see little tails poking outta there eggs first and probably free swimming in 24h and you should feed them microworms you can buy them from bigc as he has some for sale at the momment

i thought that the female was hungry so i put a bit of food by the cave they are nesting in. some food wen into the cave and she just put some in her mouth and wen outside and throw it out



whats goin on

are the eggs likly to hatch

(keep them in there or take them out and try and raise them up myself)

leave them in there because you will get more don't worry because you have a pair already and they will learn from there mistakes each time and any way once they start breeding theres no stopping them
