do they breed like every 4 weeks then and if so how long will they breed for

I ask because, bad water, very little exsperiance ect, will make breeding more stessful for both you and your fish.

Your tank is'nt realy big anothe for the fish you let alone breed more. The eggs where eaten due to stress on the perents, not because she was hungry. I bred mine in a 2ft, but the perents where the only fish in the tank apart for a couple of ground feeders. I removed mum (dad sadly died, of stress.) at 3 weeks witch I was told was to early realy. She gone back into my comunity tank. The fry are a month old now, and almost and inch long. they also have somewhere to go, when there a little older.

It's always good when breeding to have at least 2 tanks. Sadly alot of pdeople lern the hard whay they can't bree cichlids in a cominity tank.

Don't get me wrong Blade, I not being mean just trying to say maybe worth getting exsperiance under your belt before breeding.
