No, this isn't Heston Blumenthal's latest menu, do I remember reading somewhere that Kribs and Shrimp do not make good tank mates - more that the shrimp make a good lunchtime snack for the kribs?

Or am I going mad?

First off, funny joke!
Second, you heard right, they will munch smaller shrimp and even some of the adults if the krib is big enough. Though ghost shrimp might work okay.

Thanks for the responses, to which I say:-

Darn it. Quite fancied a pair of kribs, but not at the expense of my cherry shrimps.

I'm with you. I love kribs but I love the bright red shrimpies better.

I got mine from a specialist breeder near me, his are graded Sakura Fire Red, I think he said. He sells them on here, in the UK Classifieds Section, screen-name of Bungy.

Anyway, moving on....

I kept Kribs and shrimps together no problem but they were the larger amano shrimps

I've seen fullsize male Kribs kill and eat adult Amano shrimp. They'd demolish your cherry colony.
