These are African cichlids and no, IME they will attack other fish like rams and keyholes.

Thanks for the reply jayjay, what other cichlids can i have in my tank that are not too aggressive and would be ok living with rasboras and guppys etc? obviously i already have 2 rams, a small angelfish and 2 rainbow cichlids and i would like another couple of different cichlid species if possible.

Apisto's, checkerboards, severums (maybe, some are more aggressive than others), different colour rams, a small peaceful aequidens e.g. dorsigerus or curviceps maybe portalegrensis.

Would think so, provide lot's of hiding holes and areas to get away like plants etc.

i accidentally bred kribs in a tank with fairly large angels (5" fin to fin), a really tough large blue acara and a variety of other smaller fish, and the kribs beat the heck out of any other fish that came near or even looked like it might think about coming near sometime in the next week....
i had to remove bluey for his own safety
that said you will probably get as many opinions as you do answers... sometimes you can keep just about any fish with just about any other fish -- usually though, you cant :)
