-_- ive been told by bloozoo2 that there are certain types of kribs for different tanks is this rtue and if so what ones are there for a 26 gallon because in my lfs they just sell them as ordinary kribs

:) what I said on msn messenger is that I know nothing about kribs and that you need to check with they guys here on TFF - I can only help you with cycling :)
And from what I know, different pairs need a different amount of space / territory. Kribs I have no knowledge about sorry :(

there are different kinds of kribs but the care distinctions between the species are minor, as far as i know.

probably what bloozoo told you is that there are many different kinds of DWARF cichlids that are suited for different kinds of tanks.

my experience with kribs is that your tank is too small for anything more than just ONE breeding pair and a group of TOUGH tetras/danios. a single FEMALE krib would probably do ok in a community tank, but i'm no expert on keeping individual kribs.

for information on other kinds of dwarf cichlids, you should read the pinned article on "Rams, Keyholes, and Apistos" at the top of the New World Cichlids forum.

that's exactly what I said - but asked him to verify that information and do some research :)

that site says a 20 gallon minimum and removing the male wud removing the male really damage the4 chance of fry surviving?
