i posted some thing about this before but now everybody stopped replying. i know my female is trying to mate but i can't tell if my male is, every time she tries he just shakes and swims away, it kind of looks like he is vibrating. anybody know what this is?

Courting behaviour. Is there much aggression between them. Just because she's keen doesn't mean he will be. Body shakes and the like are ways of communication, unfortunately we can't understand kribensis language fully.

How much time are they spending in caves etc?

no, their is not much aggression and right now they're both in the cave but normally it's just the male that goes in the cave because something spooks him.

now they're both out and the male is following the female around.

They could be like this for a while. I've had Krib pairs do this and then take 2 or 3 goes at getting their eggs to hatch. Good luck though!

do you think they'll ever take to each other?

Sounds like they get along. Start trying to condition them with high quality live and frozen a foods.

i have had them for about a week.
