i just bought  a pare of kribs and right away the male went in the cave and he has only come out a few times and only for a few seconds, but the female swam around right away but mostly around the cave that the male is in, but now she has gone into the cave with the male and has not really come out. so i was wondering if this is normal or if i should be worried because i have herd that the male and the female hardly ever go in the cave together and if they do it's only for a few seconds. any who, please help. thanks! :)

Give them some time to adjust. He's probablqy just scared.

Aye.  All fish are different.  My guppies adjusted to a tank change almost instantly whereas my swordtail took more than a week to get comfortable.

they were just out until they saw me then they swam back into the cave.

oh and they're not eating either.

As TallTree01 said, give them time to settle down and when they are hungry they will start eating.

ok, i'm just a little nervous because i haven't had much luck with fish lately.

first ick that killed all my fish then soap in the tank then swim bladder :p

they were just out this morning and they were eating! the female has been out quite a bit but every time i walk in the room the male quickly swims back into the cave.

See. just one giant leap for kribensis, one giant leap for fishkind.
They'll be out about before you know it. in fact, if they start breeding you'll soon be wishing they were still hiding all the time ;) .
