Here's a little backstory. My tank (10 Gallon) finished cycling about two weeks ago. (Levels are Ammonia - 0 Nitrite - 0 Nitrate - ~ 5ppm) One week ago I added a dwarf gourami to the population of 3 rosy tipped tetras. They got along fine and he became the centerpiece of the tank. Yesterday I took a trip to the LFS and picked up a small dime sized Koi Angel and a young male Krib. I know it may seem like a lot of fish, but I have a 30 gallon cycling ATM that is to be turned into another community tank. Well the angel loves the tank, is very active, and will even eat small cichlid pellets right out of my hands. The Krib, on the other hand, is acting very weird. He spends most of his time in a rock cave, and I have not once seen him eat in the last 24 hours. His color is very pale most of the time but once in a while the dark black horizontal stripe will really brighten up and look good, but very rarely. Everytime I turn on the light in the morning (yesterday and today), he's laying on the bottom of the gravel breathing very heavily (or so it looks). He eventually will begin swimming but seems delerious as he swims into plants only to freak out and go back into his cave. What's wrong with my krib!? Is this some sort of weird sleeping pattern that he has? Does it sound like some kind of disease? Thanks!

EDIT: He's dead, no clue what happened.

Going pale is a sign of stress and desease, so if he's laying on the gravel to one side and laboured breathing is sounds like a bacterial infecion, does the fish look bloated.

Not really, he's flushed now, so I can't remember exactly, but I just hope that if it was some sort of bacteria it doesnt spread to the rest of my fish.

I would issolate him as i don't like the sound of the laboured breathing, sadly once they do this they don't make it, sorry, i think he was already ill when you bought him and the stress of the move as made it worse.
