HI all,

My kribs have just bred, :-( and I was wondering how long they are protective towards them, as they have scared every other fish in the tank, except the loaches to the opposite end of it (see pictures, I hope, again).

I'm going to have to learn how to use this camera better.

Thanks

as long as the fry are small they will be agressive, and once kribs start breeding they wont stop i suggest removing them from the tank before they start killing off the other fish

Thanks

The filter inlet's at the other end of the tank.

Will have to find a tank I can use for the kribs, don'y really want to split them up.

You can manage a pair of kribs in a 10 gallon, but i wouldnt recommend it. Also, the kribs will be like that for another 2 weeks and then they will losen up a bit. Beautiful male and female. If that is what they look like, i can only imagine what the babies will look like. Kribensis fry do not have a high mortality rate at all, most will survive. Make sure that there is a lfs that will buy or take the babies of you becasue they can breed every 2 weeks if the babies are taken right away. But usually every month or so is avarage. Ohhh, bye the way CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
