Ok - Rang up the a5 and they have them in for around £4.

They said there able to be sexed but im guessing there still fairly young. How old do they have to be to be sexually mature?

Are these ok for 3f 1m in the 3ft tank? (Just them)

Also i am thinking of breeding them. Are they easy to breed?

Any things you could tell me is wanted :good:

Having 1m 3f would be fine normally unless they breed... which they will. Kribs are really easy to breed (hense me having hundreds of fry ) If the male and one of the females pairs up, thy other 2 females will get chased around the tank away from them. I had a pair in a 35L tank on their own and they bred however I have learned (at my own expense :() that in this size of tank, the male will chase the female a lot more than in a bigger tank. I have heard that about 20 gallons is great for breeding them - not sure how much 3ft equals but hey ho, should be pretty good. If they are in the 3ft themselves, you will almost certainly get fry as long as they have some sort of cave or something.
Just one point: if you are buying a pair to breed, it is often best to buy the male and the female from different places as if you buy them from the same place, you can almost garentee that they are brother and sister from the same batch so if you bred them then you would end up inbreeding  Not good :S I got mine together at my LFS but they were from different breeders.
Good luck :D

Would they definatly breed up? And I have loads of oceon rock so they should find a cave.

Im scared incase the female doesnt want to breed and the male kills it.

Nah - that was my male over-protecting the young. I should have taken her out as soon as he started being aggresive but I didn't because she was fine at first :( He shouldn't normally hurt her. :good:
It is more the female that will "show off" and try to get the males attention than the other way about. He may show some aggresion like biting her side but this is all part of the process and it is to show to her that he is strong and dominant enough to be a good parent.
A lot of people will say that your best option is to get a group of about 6 to get a pair but in my experience I just bought a male and a female and they bred quite happily first in the community tank and then in their own tank.
They need a cave of sorts to lay their eggs in and to house their young. I made a cave out of pieces of slate stuck together with aquarium silicone which went down well but people use all sorts of things: coconut caves, piles of stones to make a cave, even a plantpot on its side; anything as long as they have a fairly smooth surface to lay eggs on. (note they often lay their eggs on the side or roof of the cave so the bottom doesn't need to be smooth)
The cave in the community tank that they first laid in:

Replied to your PM btw :)

I you buy a male and a female. They WILL breed. 1m/3f will not work. As they only pair up with one of the opposite sex. Not 3. Also, in Krib's, the female does the choosing of the mate, not the male. I would buy the biggest male( females are VERy dominant).
