Got him as a freebie from Stang1 @ Maidehead Aquatics
He has settled in realy well and gets along great with all the small fish in the tank.
very interesting guy to watch flitting around the tank and grazing on the Vallis.
Like an Aquatic Sheep the way he moves up and down the Vallis.

Awwww .... he's well cute. I love the Tropheus species. A big tank full of Tropheus is very impressive !!

What have you got him in with ? ... You know he'll get aggressive as he gets bigger ? and really should only be kept with other Africans.

I have heard they can be aggressive when older.
When i Swap the tanks around (new Central heating being put in soon)
I can devote a tank just to these Guys, An LFS in Rugby Stocks different types of these and i Love the look of the Black and Yellow ones.

When i Swap the tanks around (new Central heating being put in soon)
I can devote a tank just to these Guys, An LFS in Rugby Stocks different types of these and i Love the look of the Black and Yellow ones.

Oh cool ... yea the black and yellow ones are one of my favourties too. Ive forgot what you call them....

HERE is some good info on Tropheus ... just incase you dont already know.. they need to be kept in large groups (i think 14 or 16 is the minimum) otherwise they'll kill each other till there's only one left.
